HAUNTED DREAMS - POEM

BY: AMARACHI CYNTHIA

Joy turn into Mourning
Happiness Rocking the cradles
Melody Stops
Harmony Fades

Glitter falls from the twinkling Eyes
Silence printed on the Lips
Tension Grows
Lovers now Strangers

Something is missing
What would that be?
The music that filled the Room
Is now noise in the Streets

Lies cloaked in smooth Words
His voice and perfect rhymes beguiled Her
Bound by their own Promises
Now shattered into Pieces

Like a bare in a beautiful Museum
She is dancing naked in the evening Wind
Her concerts in Silent
Drifting into endless Pursuits
