IT IS WELL WITH ME - POEM

BY: TAOFEEK OLALEKAN OGUNPERI

The living fowl shall eat the corn It will flap its feathers every mourn Though life may not be the stick of my dane I'm sure the tree shall leaf-en again. When Yousuph found himself In the unwell well of life It was well with his soul It was well in spite of the foul. The testis of the cow May swing-swung anyhow The heaven is not falling My time is surely coming. The night is only skyless When it's moonless and starless When the stars shine The night will be beautiful and fine. The one hand of the bat Can hold a this and that Tree in countless number From January to December It is well with me. © Taofeek Ogunperi 2016
